Purchasing a
barebone computer is typically less expensive than buying a built computer from
a computer retailer. Sometimes they cost the same but give you more options of
integrating your desired components. Some computer retailers are limited to
what they can offer in a pre-built computer.
Barebones computers
are multipurpose systems built by and for the Do It Yourself computer user.
Most of the time they are only partially built with a pre-installed motherboard,
power supply, case and cooling fan. They give you the flexibility of upgrading
and installing only the essentials for want you want in an ideal pc. They come
with optional state of the memory, art video cards, disk drives, audio, and i/o
input and output devices which you will have to install yourself. |
